Please find attached the Winter Field Permits for Bobby Morris, Shoreline, and Marymoor.  I’ll send the Lynnwood permits next week before our first games there.  Make sure to print out and have these permits with you at all games, just in case a pushy soccer player challenges you for the field.  Yeah, I know the Bobby Morris permit looks pretty un-official.  If it makes you feel better, you can print it on fancy paper.  I hear that people often believe documents printed on canary-colored paper are more valid.  J  It’s worth a shot, right?!?

Hello & Seasons Greetings!

The full schedule for Winter League has been posted on the DiscNW site.  Please check it out and let me know if you see any errors (i.e. two games at the same time or a double header at different fields).  Field availability was sparse during the first week, so many teams have a bye to start off with.  Consider it a chance to do some extra skiing or snowshoeing.  Or better yet, an opportunity to register your team for the Hangover 2008 team tournament.  We can still take a team or two, so register soon to get in on the fun!

We’ll have a Captain’s Meeting around the 2^nd or 3^rd week of the league just to make sure things are going smoothly.  (Time and location TBA.)  We’ll also distribute your Chinook Book orders at that time.  (See below for a reminder of the fundraiser details.)  Please send me your team’s Chinook Book order quantity no later than 5pm - Friday, January 4^th.  The team that raises the most money gets a special prize!  J

Remember, no need to report scores – just have fun!  If you are unable to field a team for a particular game, please contact me as well as the opposing team’s captain immediately.  If you have any questions, feel free to email me anytime...

We have turf fields booked at Bobby Morris (10am games), Shoreline Center (9am games), and Marymoor Park (10am and 12noon games). 

We may add a few more fields at another site if we can.  The season will start on Saturday, January 5^th and will finish on Saturday, March 1^st.  We expect to schedule at least 9 games for all teams.  More league news will be posted on the league webpage later this month.
